Who am I?
I have worked in the education and information system for the past 15 years.
I want to help people have a more fulfilling life.
Laughter yoga has helped me overcome life challenges and bring balance and happiness into my life.
What is Laughter yoga?
Laughter is the best medicine and it is the main ingredient of Laughter Yoga!
Laughter Yoga was developed by an Indian physician, Dr Madan Kataria in 1995.
It is a unique exercise routine that combines the art of breathing and the science of laughing for no reason at all.
It connects people together and bring about healthy physical and emotional changes in the body and the mind.
Who is it for?
Everyone !!!
It can be practiced by children as young as 5 years old and there is no age limit !
It can be practiced indoor or outdoor, sitting down and/or standing up.
It is adaptable for all levels of fitness and cognitive abilities.
Why Laugh 2B Well?
Stress is often recognized as the number one cause of illness in the world.
Antidepressants are prescribed at 400 times the rate than 20 years ago.
Laughter is medically recognized as a complementary therapy and is used alongside conventional medical treatments because it acts as a natural painkiller and mood booster.
It is practiced by a range of patients from cancer, multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia, Parkinson's disease, etc... who beneficiate from engaging in laughter therapy.
How are session run?
A typical session is practiced in a group. It runs from 30 minutes to one hour.
It includes warm-up exercises, breathing exercises, chanting and clapping, improvisation-based activities to free up tension and encourage the free flow of laughter.
How much does it cost?
When I chose to become a laughter yoga instructor, I decided that this practice had to be accessible for all and by proposing group sessions the price remains affordable.
Laughter Yoga is a preventative and a healing practice that will fill your heart with joy and your body with strength.
